Our GuesthouseExperience - Julia's Guesthouse & Cabanas operates as a small, family-owned guesthouserather than a traditional full-service hotel. Our accommodations offer a moreindependent, home-away-from-home experience, similar to a vacation rental.

What to Expect During Your Stay - We provide clean, comfortable accommodations and a relaxed atmospherewhere guests can enjoy Placencia at their own pace. Unlike traditional hotels, we do not provide daily housekeeping or room service.Our housekeeping staff conducts periodic room checks and provides scheduledcleaning every third day to maintain cleanliness and help prevent pests. Fresh bed linens and bath towels are available upon request during scheduledcleaning. Requests for additional linens or towels before the scheduled cleaningday are subject to availability, particularly during peak season.

Important Information Before Booking

Julia’s Guesthouse & Cabanas is located beside a lively beach bar. Music and entertainment may be audible in the evening and at night, including from Cabana #7. While the elevated setting offers lovely views, it does not eliminate the possibility of neighborhood noise.

Our accommodations offer a relaxed, locally rooted experience rather than a secluded luxury-resort environment. If you are sensitive to nighttime noise or prefer a very quiet setting, please consider this when choosing your room.

Deposit & Payment - A 50% deposit of the total reservation amount is required to secure your booking. Guests may also choose to pay their reservation in full at the time of booking. The final payment is due at check-in.

Offer Terms & Conditions

• Minimum Stay: Reservations must include at least 3 consecutive nights to qualify for the discount.

• Direct Bookings Only: This offer is available exclusively for reservations made through Julia’s website.

• Full Payment Required: The entire reservation balance must be paid at the time of booking to qualify for the discount.

• Discount Calculation: The 10% discount applies to the total room rate, which already includes applicable taxes.

• Cleaning Fee Excluded: The one-time cleaning fee is not eligible for the discount and must be paid in full.

• Maximum Savings: The discount is capped at $200 per reservation, regardless of the length of stay or number of rooms booked.

• Seasonal Exclusion (August 1 – October 31): This offer is not valid for reservations that include any overnight stay between August 1 and October 31, inclusive. Eligibility is based on the dates of the guest’s stay, not the date the reservation is made. Reservations that overlap this excluded period do not qualify for the discount.

• Cannot Be Combined: This offer cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions, or special rates.

• Cancellation & Refund Policy: Julia’s standard cancellation and refund policy applies to all reservations booked under this offer.

Cancellation Policy - For cancellations made 14 or more days before the scheduled check-in date, a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the total reservation amount will be retained by the hotel. Any amount paid above the 30% cancellation fee will be refunded to the guest.

All cancellation requests must be submitted by email to juliasroomsandguesthouse@gmail.com. Approved refunds will be issued within 20 business days from the date the cancellation request is received. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the scheduled check-in date are non-refundable. No refund will be issued in case of force majeure (airline delays, strikes, weather events, political unrest, etc.)
